  Teacher and student are an invaluable part of Indian culture. Every year 5^th September celebrated as a Teacher’s Day. Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan’s respects and love for their teachers was great, so on the occasion of his birthday teacher’s day is celebrated from 1962. Also, he was very brilliant teacher.

As we all aware teachers are the backbone of our society, they work hard to shape the students character and make them an ideal citizen.

But what will happen to the world like without the teachers? Many people across the world look to their teachers as role models and it is impossible to imagine our world without them. Everyone has one favorite teacher so they can looked up into them for educational gain. For example, language teachers immerse their students to learn, read, write and even learn in a language other than their native one, mathematics teacher is inspires students to look beyond the pages of textbook to become problem solver, history teacher leads students in the study of past events, sports teacher teach a range of different sports and develop and improve their social and physical skills. The role of a teacher always has a noble value. They have a great responsibility too, because they have to mold the students knowledge and beliefs. And the teacher serve as a model of best personality.

Technology has changed many things and education is not an exception. But, the role of a teacher is still important in modern education. In fact, in an era where technology is embedded to all aspects of our lives, it is more important for teachers to guide students through the educational process. The today’s scenario of education is totally different from scenario which was few years back. At that time modern education was not considered good and today traditional education is not considered enough. In traditional education students learn about the customs and tradition of the society. In a modern learning, the teacher still plays an important role. There are different tools to use in classroom, but it is not technology that direct the teaching and learning, it is a teacher. Online education is possible, but it must to guided by real teachers. Without them, the education system would definitely fall.
